Convention News: The Charlie Duffie Award

This Annual Award is presented to the Mississippi State Elk who exemplifies excellence in Elkdom on a state level.

Charlie Duffie was one of the greatest Elks in Mississippi, he truly lived the Elks motto: Elks Care, Elks Share.

This year this very special award went to Rachael Cook PSP from the Vicksburg Lodge. Her service and dedication to the Mississippi State Elks Association have earned her this recognition. Rachael not only has the honor and distinction of being the first woman to serve as State President but also has served and chaired numerous committees throughout her Mississippi State Elks Association career.

Please congratulate Rachael Cook on her achievements and may she ever be vigilant in her pursuit of Elkdom and the principles upon which we are founded.
